Active and Safe Routes to School
The goal of the Active & Safe Routes to School program is to increase the number of students who use active transportation to get to school. This includes programs to encourage walking or cycling to school, adult-supervised walks to school, and advocating for infrastructure improvements and safety enhancements such as sidewalks, crosswalks and crossing guards, designated walking paths, and reduced speed zones.
