Safe Food Handling Certification Seminars
KFL&A Public Health provides safe food handling training. This certification seminar is recognized throughout Ontario as meeting the food service training standards of the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care. It is led by public health inspectors and is aimed at food service workers and interested residents. The certification seminar includes seven hours of instruction and a post-course examination. Successful candidates receive a five-year Food Service Certificate.
