Take Two

Many KFL&A residents abandoned New Year's Resolutions by mid-February. Now, almost six months later, is a great time to take two in order to get back on track towards accomplishing those goals.

Invest in Yourself

Would you invest 10 minutes of your time in something that would give you more energy, decrease stress, make you stronger, and prevent over 25 chronic diseases? Because a half hour of physical activity –10 minutes, 3 times a day, 5 days a week –is all you need to spend to get the benefits of regular physical activity.

Physical activity plays an important role in your health, well-being and quality of life. People who are physically active live longer, healthier lives. Any amount of physical activity will do you some good, but to achieve greater health benefits, do more.

Being active doesn’t have to be difficult. There are many ways to make physical activity a part of daily life—at home, at school, at work, at play, and on the way.

So what are you doing for the next 10 minutes?
